Welcome to ThePages (https://thepages.com.my) (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services (the “Platform”), including registering an account, submitting business listings, and posting reviews. By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident or legally registered business in Malaysia to use this Platform.

2. Account Registration

To submit a business listing or post a review, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account secure and updated.
You are responsible for any activity under your account.

3. Business Listings

As a registered user, you may submit your business for listing. Listings may include logos, descriptions, images, and other business details. All submissions are subject to moderation and approval by ThePages before being made public.
By submitting content:
  • You grant ThePages a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute your listing on the Platform.
  • You represent that you have the right to use and submit the content you provide.
We reserve the right to refuse or remove listings at our sole discretion, especially if content is:
  • False, misleading, or fraudulent
  • Offensive, obscene, or defamatory
  • In violation of any law or third-party rights

4. User Reviews

Only registered users may leave reviews. You agree to write truthful, respectful, and factual reviews based on your actual experience.
We may remove reviews that:
  • Contain hate speech, personal attacks, or profanity
  • Promote spam, advertising, or unrelated content
  • Are believed to be fake or malicious

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:
  • Use the Platform for illegal or harmful purposes
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Platform
  • Upload malicious content or viruses
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated systems to harvest data

6. Content Moderation and Removal

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts or remove listings or content without notice if:
  • You breach these Terms
  • Your listing contains false or harmful information
  • Your conduct harms other users or ThePages’ reputation

7. Disclaimers

  • ThePages does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any business listing or user-generated content.
  • We are not a party to any transaction, contract, or service arrangement between users and listed businesses.
  • Listings marked as “verified” (if used in future) are informational and do not imply any legal or financial endorsement.

8. Intellectual Property

All content and branding on ThePages (excluding user submissions) is our intellectual property. You may not copy, reuse, or distribute content without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ThePages shall not be liable for any loss or damages arising from your use of or reliance on the Platform or its content.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
